The Palestine Red Crescent Society closed two hospitals in north Lebanon after a doctor was assaulted in the latest in a series of attacks on medical staff and property.The closure followed a brutal attack on hospital staff member Dr. Fadi Abdel-Mohti.UNRWA Deputy Director of Programs in Lebanon Gwyn Lewis looked to reassure the Palestinian community that UNRWA was committed to its services and was advocating for additional funds to be provided by the international community to alleviate the humanitarian needs of Palestine refugees in Lebanon.This announcement came two days after the country's Order of Physicians and Syndicate of Private Hospitals called for action over hospital attacks.Palestinian refugees are spread throughout the 12 official camps in Lebanon with estimated numbers hovering around 450,000 .
