Top Lebanese state officials praised General Security and its head retired Maj. Gen. Abbas Ibrahim on the occasion of the agencies 72nd anniversary for its role in maintaining security and stability in the country.In collaboration with other security agencies and the Lebanese Army, General Security has repeatedly cracked down on extremist sleeper cells to avert other potential attacks.Interior Minister Nouhad Machnouk also praised the role of General Security and other security agencies.
