Culture Minister Ghattas Khoury met with the Lebanese Press Syndicate at the Culture Ministry Monday, when he spoke about the ministry's five-year cultural advancement plan, the state-run National News Agency reported.Khoury said that the Cabinet's upcoming meeting to take place in the next two days would open the door for the revival of the the ministry's plan.The project is planned to be undertaken in parallel with a program promoting Lebanese cinema in general.The ministry also aims to repossess the Beit Beirut historical landmark -- now a museum and urban cultural center under the ownership of the Beirut Municipality -- for the same purpose, but has found obstacles with the municipality, according to the ministry.
