The Future Movement parliamentary bloc Tuesday praised the government's commitment to holding the Parliamentary elections as scheduled while expressing hope that next year will bring more prosperity to Lebanon.During the meeting, the bloc also touched on the Cabinet's recent decision to award licenses to a consortium of three international oil companies for offshore oil and gas exploration in Lebanon's territorial waters, setting the stage for Lebanon to join the list of energy-producing countries.Hajjar said that the Future bloc also denounced the United States' veto of an Egyptian-drafted resolution at the United Nations Security Council that called on U.S. President Donald Trump to rescind his recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital.
