Energy Minister Cesar Abi Khalil Tuesday night assured the Lebanese people that the initial proceeds from oil surveys had been deposited in special accounts in Lebanon's Central Bank, and that any statements to the contrary were false.Abi Khalil also touched on the delineation of Lebanon's southern maritime blocks, saying that Israel's claim that Block Eight is in its territorial waters is "fictitious".Abi Khalil also said that work was also being done to prepare for drilling on Lebanese land.The move will allow the three companies, which jointly bid on blocks Four and Nine, to move forward with the process of determining whether oil and gas reserves are present.
