The Saudi government informed the Lebanese Foreign Ministry Wednesday that it would accept Beirut's appointment for the post of Lebanese ambassador to Riyadh, local media reports said.The delay in the official appointment of the Lebanese ambassador has highlighted tensions between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia following the resignation, now withdrawn, of Hariri that was announced from Riyadh on Nov. 4 .Saudi Arabia's candidate for the kingdom's ambassadorial post in Beirut has still not been officially accepted by the Lebanese government.
