Despite media speculation that the committee had settled on a decision to establish incinerators or landfills, Environment Minister Tarek Khatib denied this, saying that the committee was seeking to put the final touches on a new trash plan.Thursday's meeting was also attended by Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani, Interior Minister Nouhad Machnouk, Industry Minister Hussein Hajj Hasan, Public Works Minister Youssef Fenianos, Finance Minister Ali Hasan Khalil, State Minister for Development Einaya Ezzeddine, Abi Khalil, Khatib and head of the CDR Nabil al-Jisr.
