Civil servants and public and private teachers are set to take to the street Wednesday as the Cabinet holds yet another session to discuss the contentious 2017 state budget.The protest, which will be staged in Beirut's Downtown at 3:30 p.m., will coincide with a Cabinet session at the Grand Serail.Head of the Private Schools Teachers Syndicate Nehmeh Mahfoud has managed to persuade some private and public schools to join the one-day strike in order to pressure the government into passing the salary scale.
