Tensions ran high in the Bekaa Valley town of Zahle Thursday as local residents vowed to take matters into their own hands to free a 74-year-old Lebanese national kidnapped one day prior.Local media reported that Saad Richa was seen being abducted by three armed men Wednesday evening as he closed his convenience store. The suspects reportedly drove off in a Black SUV and headed toward the eastern Bekaa town of Brital. Archbishop of the Greek Catholic diocese of Zahle and Ferzol Issam Darwish held a meeting Thursday evening and said that Zahle would not rest until Richa was freed.
