Tension simmered in Ain al-Hilweh Sunday after overnight clashes rocked the south Lebanon Palestinian refugee camp, leaving three people wounded.Security sources told The Daily Star that three individuals have been wounded in the clashes that erupted between the Palestinian joint security force and members from Bilal Badr extremist group in the Al-Tiri neighborhood, which was the epicenter of heavy clashes last month. A security source had told The Daily Star that one officer and six fighters were stationed in the center facing the Al-Tiri neighborhood.The center lies between the Al-Tiri and Smayrieh neighborhoods.Information from sources on the ground indicate the joint security force and Ain al-Hilweh's more secular factions paid Badr in order to gain access to the center.
