The changing world of health care provision is throwing up new challenges for medical practitioners and hospitals all over the world.The book discusses the aspects one in a managerial or administrative position should asses when operating a practice or a hospital.Hamdan pointed out that one out of three patients today will Google or research their physician or hospital before going, making them more engaged in decision making.This hybrid situation, Hamdan said, teaches you how to provide this.Hamdan stressed that the strategies in his book are applicable to all hospitals in the world.Giving the example of physician integration, Hamdan says a hospital cannot succeed without having physicians "onboard".
