The government is keen to include the new wage hike for civil servants, as well as public and private teachers within the 2017 budget draft, Education Minister Marwan Hamadeh said Friday.Hamadeh made his announcement at the ninth annual educational leadership forum 12 years after the assassination of former Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. Prime Minister Saad Hariri said after chairing a Cabinet session Wednesday that an agreement on the state budget was edging closer to fruition, adding that three Cabinet sessions would be held next week in order to settle the issue.
