One person was killed during an exchange of fire with a Lebanese Army unit during a raid on homes of alleged fugitives in east Lebanon, an army statement said Tuesday.The exchange of fire Monday led to the arrest of six suspected fugitives, who were at the scene in the town of Kneiseh in the eastern city of Baalbeck. Baalbeck-Hermel Governor Bashir Khodor Tuesday hailed the "unique military operation conducted by the Lebanese Army Intelligence" during a security meeting at Baalbeck Grand Serail.He said that the operation had led to the arrest of "25 dangerous fugitives".
