Lawmakers Wednesday attended a Parliament session to debate and approve a raft of draft laws and proposals – including a salary scale bill for civil servants and public and private school teachers, who stageed a rally in Beirut's Downtown area.Lebanese Forces MP George Adwan told reporters as he entered the session that lawmakers should approve the salary scale during Wednesday's session.Lebanon's judges began a two-day strike at noon on Monday to protest a possible reduction in their salaries and benefits, warning of further escalating their position if the new salary scale was endorsed.
