Prime Minister Saad Hariri held talks Thursday with Saudi Deputy Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz al-Saud and other senior officials in Riyadh during his first visit to the kingdom since returning to the premiership in November.Hariri and Prince Mohammad, also the kingdom's defense minister and second deputy prime minister, discussed bilateral relations between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia, in addition to developments in the Middle East region, the Saudi Press Agency reported.Hariri arrived in Riyadh Wednesday on King Salman's plane after they attended the Arab League summit in Jordan. He had accompanied President Michel Aoun to the one-day 28th Arab summit that took place on the Dead Sea in Jordan Wednesday.Hariri's visit to Riyadh is expected to reflect positively on Lebanese-Saudi relations.However, relations between Lebanon and Saudi Arabia improved when Aoun chose Riyadh in January for his first visit abroad after he took office in October, breaking the ice between the two countries.
