Efforts to free a cargo ship grounded since last month in the coastal city of Sidon are still underway as the municipality steps up attempts to prevent local pollution as the ship shows signs of severe structural damage.Water leaking into the vessel has increased in recent weeks.The source told The Daily Star the Public Works Ministry would be deploying smaller tugboats over the next couple of days to begin unloading the metal from the vessel in an effort to make the ship lighter.
