A Lebanese federation of labor unions has signed an agreement with a French labor confederation to implement projects to assist Lebanese workers, according to a statement released Saturday.The National Federation of Worker and Employee Trade Unions in Lebanon (FENASOL) released the statement, which outlines an agreement reached with a delegation from the French General Confederation of Labor (CGT) that was visiting the country.The CGT praised FENASOL for its work protecting labor rights – whether of Lebanese or foreign workers – and the courage it displayed in doing so.
