Head of the U.N peacekeeping mission in Lebanon Wednesday praised the Lebanese Army's recent additional deployment of soldiers south of the Litani River.Gen. Michael Beary came as he hosted a tripartite meeting between senior officials from the Lebanese and Israeli armies at a U.N. base in south Lebanon's Ras al-Naqoura.The regular meetings, which have been held regularly since the end of the 2006 war, play an essential role in conflict management and confidence building between the Lebanese Army and the Israeli army according to UNIFIL.
