A high-level U.S. Air Force official has affirmed U.S. support for a stable Lebanon after holding meetings with Lebanese Army and Air Force leadership in the country over the last few days, a U.S Embassy statement reported Friday.Deputy Under Secretary of the U.S. Air Force for International Affairs Heidi Grant visited Lebanon between Nov. 7-10, meeting with Army Commander Maj. On Nov. 8 and Nov. 10, the U.S. gave the Lebanese Army and Air Force munitions valued at over $24 million.
