Former Prime Minister of Lebanon Tammam Salam Friday urged the country to stand by Prime Minister Saad Hariri following talks with Grand Mufti of Lebanon Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian at Dar El-Fatwa.Agreement was, once again, the theme of the day as Derian called for "national unity" and for actors to await further information before announcing their stance regarding Hariri's resignation. He also praised the "brotherly, historical relations" Lebanon has traditionally enjoyed with Saudi Arabia.Salam is just one of the swath of political leaders to come out in support of Hariri as a national leader. Friday also saw Progressive Socialist Party chief Walid Jumblatt and MP Sleiman Frangieh both labeling Hariri's return to Lebanon as necessary to the resolution of the country's current political crisis.
