Justice Minister Salim Jreissati Thursday signed off on long-awaited key judicial appointments and referred them to Cabinet's General Secretariat.President Michel Aoun must also sign off on the judicial appointments for them to go into effect. After forming an alliance to elect Aoun as president last year, the LF-FPM relationship has hit roadblocks, as the FPM played a key role in recent ambassadorial appointments and now judicial appointments without the LF.Following the ceremony, the judges met with Jreissati, who congratulated them on their success and for being among the new judges included in the new, key judicial appointments.
