Deputy Prime Minister and Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani Sunday called on women to take the initiative to get routinely screened for breast cancer, in a televised speech.The football game launched a four-month-long national breast cancer awareness campaign.Sunday's game involved friendly matches between men and women. They were playing with pink footballs bearing the breast cancer awareness logo of a pink ribbon. Starting Monday, a breast cancer awareness campaign will be launched across a diverse range of media platforms, encouraging women to undergo screening for breast cancer by getting mammograms.
