Foreign Minister and leader of the Free Patriotic Movement Gebran Bassil said Sunday that Syrian refugees in Lebanon have two options – leave or stay – but he would not support the establishment of camps. On the second day of his Bekaa tour, Bassil arrived in Western Bekaa's Khirbet Qanafar, where he received a reception in the presence of former MP Henry Chedid, Mayor Tony Chedid, members of the Municipal Council and Environment Minister Tarek Khatib.Bassil also spoke about Lebanon's Syrian refugee population.Former MP Chedid, for his part, welcomed the foreign minister, saying he was "supportive of Bassil's positions on Lebanon and its expatriates, which express the best of the thoughts ... of President Michel Aoun, the symbol of independence".On his tour, the foreign minister previously visited the town of Mansoura, in Rashaya.
