Prime Minister Saad Hariri reiterated his opposition to Syrian President Bashar Assad's regime after being criticized for signing a decree appointing a new Lebanese ambassador to Syria.Reports emerged Saturday that Saad Zakhia had been appointed as Lebanon's ambassador to Syria after a decree was signed by President Michel Aoun and Hariri to formalize the move in line with Cabinet's diplomatic appointments and transfers made in July.As news came out of the appointment, Hariri was accused of having a double-standards approach toward the Syrian government.
