The secretary-general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Wednesday assured President Michel Aoun that the body would do its utmost to make Lebanon the center of religious and cultural dialogue.When asked whether discussions revolved around Lebanon becoming a center for interfaith and cultural dialogue, Othaimeen said yes.Late Tuesday evening, Aoun called on Lebanese expatriates to visit Lebanon on their vacations.Bassil met with the Holy See's secretary for relations with states, Monsignor Paul Gallagher, who expressed his support for the transformation of Lebanon into a global center for interfaith and intercultural dialogue – a vision articulated by Aoun Tuesday.
