The Friends of Zira and Sidon's Beach organization launched a campaign to clean the seabed around the Zira Island near Sidon Friday, with divers sorting the waste under the water.Under the patronage of the Sidon municipality, the Friends of Zira and Sidon's Beach ended the summer tourist season with an effort to clean the seabed around the island just off the coast of the southern port city. The project of establishing an "underwater park" in Sidon has been in the works for a while, and the cleaning campaigns will help push the project forward.
