An indictment issued against a Facebook page admin who called for a protest against the Lebanese Army's treatment of Syrian nationals in their custody, began Friday at the Military Court.Hani al-Hussein was accused by the Military Investigative Judge Riad Abu Ghaida of damaging relations between Lebanon and Syria, exposing Lebanon to acts of retaliation, stirring up racial tensions and harming the Lebanese Army. In the indictment, Abu Ghaida has called for Hussein's imprisonment. In July 2017, a Facebook page titled "Union of Syrian People in Lebanon" called for a demonstration to defend the rights of Syrian nationals in Lebanon in the Beirut Central District.
