A security source told The Daily Star that a local Internal Security Forces branch had informed him that a mortar bomb had landed on the house of Lebanese national Fawaz al-Ahmad, wounding Syrian national Sayer Dawood al-Khalaf and causing material damage.The Lebanese Army announced the arrest of a Syrian national suspected of membership in a terrorist organization that played a role in the 2014 Arsal clashes.The Army referred the suspect to the military court.The suspect allegedly confessed to belong to Jabhat Fatah al-Sham affiliate Abu Abdullah al-Iraqi – a group that operated on the outskirts of Arsal.The suspect also confessed to participating in an attack on an Army post on Aug. 2, 2014 and kidnapping soldiers whom he then transferred to Jabhat Fatah al-Sham.
