Some 950 teachers from south Lebanon have received training for their roles at polling stations during the upcoming parliamentary elections, a statement carried by the state-run National News Agency reported Monday.The two-day session was held at the faculties of literature and law at the Lebanese University in Sidon. The training sessions focused on how voters will cast their ballots, information about the printed ballots that the ministry will provide and the process of counting the votes based on the new proportional electoral law.
