Lebanon residents should beware of eating certain wild herbs, mushrooms and fish that are poisonous to humans, a Health Ministry source told The Daily Star Thursday. The wild herbs and mushrooms in question are found predominantly at the beginning of spring, said the source, who chose not to be named. The source told The Daily Star he did not have more information at his disposal about the type of fish or mushrooms that were dangerous, nor about how Lebanon residents should go about identifying them.
