Teachers and parents at International College, Ain Aar are locked in a dispute over salary increases financed by a tuition hike, which saw educators refusing to show up for work for two consecutive days and parents staging a sit-in Wednesday to protest the strike.Teachers declared an open strike Tuesday when the school's administration halted their salary increase, following a ruling by the Judge of Urgent Matters that froze a tuition increase the school imposed to finance the raise. IC Ain Aar parents' committee argue that the increase was unjustifiable, especially since the school has been imposing increases every year.
