Israeli violations of the U.N. Security Council resolution that ended the 2006 war will soon be addressed again by the tripartite committee, President Michel Aoun told UNIFIL Force Commander Maj.Aoun told Beary that the tripartite committee, which consists of representatives from the Lebanese Army, UNIFIL, and the Israeli army, are set to re-open the file on Israeli's routine violations of Lebanon's sovereignty, air, land, sea, and gas blocks, according to the statement from his media office. Beary gave Aoun a brief update on the situation in the south and noted that positive results had stemmed from additional cooperation between UNIFIL forces and the Army.
