Hezbollah Secretary-General Sayyed Hasan Nasrallah discussed the situation in Yemen with a Houthi delegation over the weekend, a statement from the party's media office reported Sunday. The statement said that Nasrallah met with the delegation, headed by spokesperson Mohammad Abdel-Salam, while a Hezbollah source told The Daily Star the meeting was held Saturday. Hezbollah's rumored involvement in the Yemen war, which began in 2015, caused a major political crisis last year when Prime Minister-designate Saad Hariri resigned from the premiership, a decision he later withdrew.Abdel-Salam, the channel added, thanked Nasrallah for his positions on the situation in Yemen and extended his greetings on behalf of the Yemeni people.
