Tensions between caretaker Health Minister Ghassan Hasbani and caretaker Economy Minister Raed Khoury escalated Friday in a back-and-forth on Twitter regarding the electricity issue.Five years on, private generators and power ships continue to supply to select electricity.Hasbani, who fears that generators and ships are here to stay, questioned why the choice for electricity supply had become limited to private generators or power ships when the state could focus instead building power plants.Hasbani replied that "what we care about is focusing on a permanent solution for the electricity [issue] and building power plants as soon as possible, instead of focusing on temporary solutions". He expressed his concern about meters paving the way for generators, like power ships, to become a permanent solution.
