The Lebanese Army imposed heightened security measures in Baalbeck Friday after overnight clashes with the notorious Jaafar clan left one soldier dead and three others injured.The assailants fired machine guns and shelled an Army patrol in Al-Sharawneh and a nearby Army position, as well as another Army position in Al-Qasr, precipitating clashes that lasted until around midnight.An Army statement released during the night said the clashes had left four soldiers wounded, one of them critically.
