The security presence will go back to normal levels after New Year's Day.Beirut MP Nazih Najem, who chairs the committee, said it had ordered roadworks and quarrying activities to be halted over the next two weeks throughout the country.Najem also said that steps had been taken to tighten the implementation of traffic laws, especially for parking in forbidden areas and double-parking.Other trucks have also been ordered to stick to nighttime travel, though Najem said the ISF has yet to announce the exact hours.
