The World Bank's Middle East & North Africa head said Friday that the partnership between the international bank and Lebanon is "strong and durable," in a meeting with the finance minister to plan out upcoming joint projects.Ghanem described the partnership between the World Bank and Lebanon as "strong and durable," adding that the organization's current funding for projects in Lebanon is $1.4 billion.Future projects that could be eligible for World Bank funding were also discussed. The projects currently prioritized, Ghanem said, are those focusing on social issues, particularly in the fields of education, health and transport.
