A Mount Lebanon judge cleared MTV CEO Michel El-Murr Monday in a case accusing him of involvement in an illegal internet scandal that hit the country in 2016 .A number of people were accused of running or profiting from the networks, including El-Murr.The judge's decision Monday came as El-Murr was participating in the meeting of the Media and Telecoms Parliamentary committee.Speaking after the meeting, El-Murr pointed out that some media outlets were taking advantage of the case to harm his reputation and that of MTV.
