Poland pledged Tuesday $10 million in support to Syrian refugees in Lebanon in an announcement made by the Polish prime minister's office. The statement said that the Polish premier Mateusz Morawiecki, who was on an official visit to Lebanon, revealed that the $10 million is to help Lebanon build accommodation for 1,000 Syrian refugees.Hundreds of thousands of Syrian refugees have fled the war in their country to Lebanon.In December, the United Nations refugee agency, UNHCR, announced that the number of registered Syrian refugees in Lebanon dropped to below 1 million for the first time since 2014 .
