One man was killed and another wounded earlier in the week in a clash near a known smuggling route in the northern district of Akkar, the state-run National News Agency reported Saturday.The deceased, identified as Syrian Kh.H., was reportedly killed Friday by gunfire from the Syrian territory near the border town of Abboudieh. ?Another man, identified as a Syrian from the al-Jabouri family, was injured in the clash.He was on Syrian territory, across a small river, but managed to cross back into Lebanese territory.
