Defense Minister Yaacoub Sarraf said Saturday that Lebanon was not looking to wage a war on Israel but would defend its sovereignty, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference in Germany.Sarraf was asked about the recent spike in Israeli rhetoric against Lebanon over claims to potential oil and gas reserves in the Mediterranean Sea and over the construction of a cement security wall along the border.Sarraf met with Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit, briefing him on Lebanon's position with regard to the disputes with Israel.
