The Internal Security Forces freed a 7-year-old Syrian girl who was kidnapped Thursday morning in Zahle's Barr Elias, an ISF tweet said Thursday evening.The ISF said it freed the girl, identified by her initials S.A.L., without paying the ransom demanded by her kidnappers earlier in the day. The suspected abductors were reportedly arrested and the girl was returned to her family unharmed.The child had been kidnapped from in front of her house as she was about to get on a school bus with her brother, a security source told The Daily Star. The kidnappers had demanded a ransom in exchange for her release, the source said.
