Environment Minister Tarek Khatib Wednesday said he is relying on the Socio-economic Council to support his ministry's goals, during a visit to the council's headquarters in the morning.Khatib met with Charles Arbid, Chairman of the Socio-economic Council, in the presence of other representatives from both parties and expressed a positive outlook towards the council's role in waste management.Since its formation, the supervisory committee has held two meetings, and its members have participated in various conferences organized by the Environment ministry to introduce the policy and the role of the committee, Khatib said.
