Two men were indicted Thursday on charges of plotting to assassinate Future Movement MP Bahia Hariri at the behest of the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad. Military Investigative Judge Riad Abu Ghayda issued an indictment against Mohammad Mustafa al-Dabet, accusing him of being an Israeli agent and working at the instructions of Walid al-Naqouzi, a Lebanese national living in Israel was has been indicted in absentia.Abu Ghayda accused both Dabet and Naqouzi of spying and working for Mossad, plotting the premeditated murder of Hariri and inciting internal strife and chaos.Dabet, according to the indictment, admitted to doing so and sending footage to Naqouzi.In the indictment, Abu Ghayda noted that Dabet accepted the task to assassinate Hariri with the hopes of sowing strife.
