U.K. Ambassador to Lebanon Hugo Shorter Thursday raised the importance of Lebanon's policy of dissociation for the country's stability and security, in a meeting with Prime Minister Saad Hariri.Later this year major international donor conferences will take place in Italy and Paris, referred to as Rome II and Paris IV, to support the Lebanese security services and help boost the economy respectively.Shorter reiterated his country's support for Lebanon through its aid and security partnership, via the relevant U.N. resolutions and the work of the International Support Group for Lebanon.
