Kataeb Party chief MP Sami Gemayel has ruled out an alliance with the Free Patriotic Movement in the upcoming parliamentary elections despite not having finalized his party's candidate lists.Essentially ruling out an alliance with Prime Minister Saad Hariri's Future Movement due to its widely publicized relationship with the FPM, Gemayel said he would only align with sides that shared the same beliefs as his party. As reports emerge of a rekindled bond between the Kataeb and LF, Gemayel believes the latter is convinced of the Kataeb's viewpoints.Asked if this meant the LF must approach the Kataeb, Gemayel said it was not about one side making the trip to another.
