A media truce agreed between the Free Patriotic Movement and the Amal Movement was short-lived as tensions reignited after a video was leaked Sunday night of Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil calling Speaker Nabih Berri a "baltaji," or thug.Shortly after the video went viral on social media, Berri's top political aide, Finance Minister Ali Hasan Khalil launched a scathing attack on Bassil.Bassil is the president's son-in-law.Leaping to the defense of Berri, Khalil said that no words will shake the speaker's status amongst the people.
