Caretaker Interior Minister Nouhad Machnouk visited Baabda Palace Monday afternoon to discuss with President Michel Aoun the latest developments regarding the controversial naturalization decree that was issued last week.Gen. Abbas Ibrahim who refused to speak to reporters after the meeting.Following his meeting with Abbas, Machnouk revealed that some names that did not meet legal requirements had been eliminated from the naturalization decree after the list had undergone investigation by three authorities: the Lebanese Judicial Bulletin, the Internal Security Forces' Intelligence Branch and the Interpol, the National News Agency reported.
