Saudi Arabia to attend donor conferences: HaririDescribing his official visit to Riyadh as "very successful," Prime Minister Saad Hariri said Sunday that Saudi Arabia has agreed to attend two donor conferences, a development that is likely to give a major boost to international meetings aimed at supporting Lebanon.Hariri spoke shortly after returning to Beirut from Riyadh, wrapping up a four-day official visit to the kingdom during which he held talks with King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz and Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman focusing on boosting Lebanese-Saudi ties, strained since Hariri's resignation crisis last year.Hariri, who reportedly held two lengthy meetings with Prince Mohammad Friday and Saturday nights, said Saudi officials assured him of the kingdom's "active participation" in the conferences.During the meeting with Siniora, which was also attended by Deputy Parliament Speaker Farid Makari and Culture Minister Ghattas Khoury, Hariri briefed them on the results of his Saudi Arabia talks.
