Prime Minister Saad Hariri said Monday that he was "committed to implementing" the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals, during a meeting of the committee preparing Lebanon's Voluntary National Review.The meeting was also attended by Deputy Prime Minister Ghassan Hasbani and the directors of various ministries and government departments, as well as representatives from civil society and the private sector.Hasbani said that the purpose of the meeting, and the fact high-ranking members of government attended, was to demonstrate Lebanon's commitment to the SDGs.Lebanon's Voluntary National Review of the goals will be presented to the U.N. on July 15 .
